I had COVID the day after Christmas and still feeling crappy. Idk don't know if this is nornal. Doctors can't find anything wrong with me.

At this very moment I need to take a break from work to lie down and take a nap, I am completely out of energy. I had strong headaches yesterday the whole day.

I just need this to end, I want to have my life back.

In my case it was due to need. I didn't get any PS1 emulators to run well on my laptop at the time (a Windows 10 Microsoft Surface Book 2) and if I recall was due to old OpenGL libraries used in all emulators, but DuckStation implements DX11 and Vulkan, and performance was simply brilliant, so by modern that's what I meant.

I've got it already on my Pixel 6 with Android 14.

The rest of the world uses WhatsApp or something else that's popular in their country. I know it's not helpful in your case but you guys really need to get over SMS if you want something better and the reason why is because the EU is about enforce all those chat app giants to be able to talk to eachother so if I use Viber but you ube WhatsApp we can still talk anyway, which is pretty fucking cool, but it won't matter for you if you keep using SMS.

I guess he meant as in people who already are into keeping them as pets have multiple setups.

They're limited as hell and buggy. The thing that most bothers me is the character limit and then your device sends out multiple SMSs, other devices may not understand that and instead of receiving one message you receive multiple broken ones.

Accents, anything not in the English alphabet: á ä ā ą é ê and so on, good luck with those.

Attaching media is a nightmare, basically the entire MMS protocol is broken.

You're relying on your carrier and your recipients carriers.

International messaging is also completely broken for the reason above. You can forget any media in that case too.

Geez I don't know if I should continue. Did you know SMS was not a feature planned in phones originally but rather it takes advantage of a bug that was never fixed?

In Brazil where I'm originally from people stopped using SMS altogether as soon as the first iPhone got in the market. Android followed shortly after. Viber was the popular choice back then, now WhatsApp is the standard.

That would be pretty cool, I will add to the community ideas list and look into it when I can, thanks!

That sounds amazing, may we know a little more about your project if you're ready to share something about it?

That's a fascinating topic, and I wonder how AppImages sit in this argument.

While I am not a huge fan of the idea of rewatching a series, me and my wife are rewatching The Office now, we're already on season 4 or 5 I think.

Another one I could probably rewatch is The Big Bang Theory.

Besides that, I am actually trying to avoid spending the evenings in front of the TV.
