Why do you think it's firewalled?
Does the web gui work, and just the torrents are failing?
I assume you didn't forget to open the port on the machine. I made that mistake and it took forever to figure out
If it's not crazy far out of date, and you can still get app updates and Google services updates, you'll be mostly fine.
A big part of security is limiting your exposure. If you know how to prevent any connection to anything other than your server and probably Google for updates, that would be a great help.
I should clarify, I haven't pirated a game since prototype 1. At least a game that I could buy. I have pirated games I have emulated, but this is clearly a different thing.
You can also use pirating to send a message. If a company does something really bad, like loot boxes or micro transactions, you can pirate take money they likely got from someone who's addicted to gambling.
I played Wii bowling on my steam deck. Using Dolphin, a Wii mote connected through Bluetooth, and a USB sensor bar. Then just a dock to put it on the TV and charge it.
Only thing that gave me trouble was the speaker in the Wii mote.
Pokemon go chugged on that thing. I ran it alongside my oneplus 8 for a while, and I promise it wasn't running perfectly.
Nevermind that the oneplus 8 ran at 50% higher fps.
Is Pixelfed for image storage, or is it more like Instagram?
Does it work well? I haven't checked in a minute, but does I believe they used to recommend two separate installs for multi library

As a userbase grows, companies have 2 options to make it more competitive.
More services Lower prices
And no company chooses the later.
And that's how you get bloat
