That's why you disable their account before telling them they're fired.

Don't just give location access to any app that requests it, especially background location access.

Even 7zip can compress a large text file to less than 25% of it's original size. The installer is less than 2MB. There are even better compression algorithms for text than 7zip though.

It's rather hard to open source the model when you trained it off a bunch of copyrighted content that you didn't have permission to use.

Holy crap, they are serious. I though I was on !programmer_humor@programming.dev for a minute. I sure hope none of those computers are connected to the internet. There's a massive number of vulnerabilities in windows 3.1 and windows 95.

Torrents and usenet will get you high quality videos if that's what you want. Streaming sites are usually only have low bitrate videos.

Yes you can game on Linux. Lookup your games on ProtonDB to see if they are all compatible. Most games run fine unless they have kernel level anticheat that stops them from running. On Steam, you just have to enable Proton and windows games will install normally.

If those greedy ISP's hadn't just pocketed all of that federal broadband funding that's been handed out over the past couple decades, a lot more people would have access to high speed internet by now.

If you are donating stacks of discs to a thrift store, make sure there's nothing on them you don't want to give away first. I bought a pack of CDs from a thrift store a while ago. I checked a couple at the top of the stack before I bought them and they were blank. I used about half of them without issue and when I put the next one in the drive, it mounted and opened. Someone gave away a whole bunch of banking info and tax records. I used them for target practice, but someone certainly could have used that info for identity theft if they chose to.

Amazon's search is the worst. It doesn't really matter what filters you use, they are only going to show you what they want to.

It's just filling forms, adding text, and drawing. It doesn't have actual editing capabilities.
