I personally do a restic backup on my server (I have a dedicated hetzner server), and keep a backup on the server itself, and do a backup to a backblaze bucket for an offsite backup.

I also have a restic check job run every week, that reads 10% of the random data making sure everything is fine and working correctly.

For my local machine I do the same but additionally backup also to an usb drive for a 3-2-1 backup solution.

Croatia, the number prob is too high but most people I know and see only work seasonal work here, tricky part here is that thay season work can be anywhere from 3 months to 10 months, depending on the job.

And on the note of teachers, doctors, ... we are severelly lackijg then because people leave the country since the pay is so small that it pays of more to work a seasonal job than being any of them.

Ironic.

I recently started something similar using bookstack as the software behind.

Still severely lacking in content but am willing for anyone who has time and something interesting to write in it as long it's connected to tech, preferably linuc and open source software.

Here is the link and if anyone want's to contribhte I'm more than willing to accept a couple editor to grow the content on it.

I get like a few notifications a day, mostly just ntfy notification from all my autotion script telling me was something successfull or watchtower thelling me what docker container was update so that I know that it is cause of the update that something started behaving wrongly.

Everything else I ignore with passion, even have notification sound's and vibration turned off for specific app's so I don't get sound or vibration even if my phone is on full blast. Help's a lot.

Only take note from official lineage os site on compatibility.

You could try divest os or /e/ project.

You could also try getting stock android on the device which doesn't have any google services ( android by itself is free and open source after all.
