This goes against what Republicans want. They're literally removing child labor laws so kids can get into the work force while they're in middle school. Start a kid working at 12 years old and they can get about 50 years of labor out of them. Chances are that kid will be working 60-70 years and won't be able to retire.

Anyone over the age of retirement shouldn't be able to run for any publ office.

As a frequent customer of CFA, I've quite often seen teens and young adults with various "unatural" colors in their hair. But it looks like the policy was "misinterpreted by the operator" and she was able to come back without changing her hair color.

He won't go to jail. At best he'll be banned from running for president, but that won't happen. At worst he'll be president again. Either way, the justice system is in his favor with this judge.

I've been spending less time on Lemmy and Kbin overall, but I'm more engaged and commenting more. Basically, I'm getting more out of the conversations here. Not saying the conversations on Reddit were any less meaningful, because there are a lot of intelligent people that posted and are posting over there (I'm assuming they're still posting over there, I honestly haven't been there since the 3PA Purge). Maybe because the amount of comments here are fewer so it's easier to read more comments and respond vs the wall of comments and still missing a lot of information. I don't know. But I feel like I can spend less time here and get more out of the posts and comments.

Yeah, I know, but it just seemed weird to include \ when / seems to be more widely used? Or maybe it's just me lol.

Okay, makes sense. Maybe they'll reintroduce it with RCS once it's more widely adopted.

I'm right handed but tend to use my left hand when browsing one handed lol.

I've been using Brave for a few years now on my desktop and after reading the threads lately about it, I'd like to switch. I don't seem to have the issues other users have, but I don't want to use it based on the CEO's views on some things.

I've always had Firefox installed with uBlock Origin and I use it occasionally. One of the things Chromium based browsers have is built-in tab grouping. I know there are extensions and I've only tried Simple Tab Groups but it didn't behave how I was expecting it to behave, which is like how Chromium handles it.

So far that's the only thing I've noticed.

I haven't seen anything but I haven't looked into it either. It would be nice to see because I used Joey before I switched to Sync. But I always like trying out different apps.
