Or maybe: all of the parties are crap. Sounds more plausible than "all of us are stupid".

I was only just old enough but this decade feels just like the 1970s. Nothing works, local monopolies taking the piss, strikes, and useless leaders and parties. The phrase "managed decline" was coined to describe failing public services. It gave rise to the punk anarchist in the last couple of years of the 1970s. Anarchy is the way forward for me.

Had anyone useful listened to one punk icon, Jimmy Savile would have been properly exposed. Instead they banned Johnny Rotten. It was indicative of the time.

Propose parliamentary candidates worthy of our votes (not just preprogrammed to line their own pockets) and we'll vote.

Tall women (5' 7" / 170cm +) walk elegantly and have a poise often denied their shorter counterparts.

Never be worried about being tall. I wish I had been blessed. Both wives were 5'4". I'm 6' 183cm.

I think the human rights of the assailant always outweigh those of the victim in these situations. Neither of them goes to prison.

Perhaps a better question is: asking why Apple isn't mainstream?

Linux almost always needs to be installed, whereas Apple is plug n' play. Plus Linux has a reputation of being much more complicated than it actually is.

The disparity between the proportion of iMac sales vs the people who could afford an iMac is rather enormous, but I have this idea that for iPhones and Androids, this is reversed.

I find that conundrum, assuming it's true, kinda interesting.
