This is taking way too long.

I just glimpsed over the other comments, I also use both Mullvad VPN and tumbleweed. I switched to systemd-resolvd and got it working at some point, but its a big hassle and I also had strange problems when trying it for the first time. I could try to look into my configuration on the weekend.

Just play guild wars 2 if you don't wanna rely on other players.

Tumbleweed for over 10 years, if you know how to roll back with snapper there is nothing to lose.

I’ve been considering Opensuse, but last time I used zypper it was painfully slow. Has it gotten any better?

No, I am using TW for years and despise its package manager slowness. Apart from that though, TW is great. Have void on my laptop as well, sadly rarely use it currently.

I am using alacritty for years, just recently discovered helix. So I guess I am a natural convert.

Is it common than whenever somebody brings up "emacs" its a wall of text? Please don't take seriously.

I'd say the terminal, although its not linux exclusive and kind of a cheat answer. Flameshot is also a staple for me, I use it everywhere.

MPV comes to mind, although its also available in windows.

I rather play Hunt:Showndown, Squad or BattleBit. OW is outdated
