On the chance you're not aware, they do make a pretty cool little matching numpad. It's not quite as nice as having a full size keyboard (I wish they docked together with magnets or something), but for just over a hundred bucks all in, it's a decent compromise.

Twice your annual salary in a mortgage + student loans + car loan actually sounds like a pretty typical situation, if not a bit frugal. That's a person making 100k with a 4yr degree from a public univeristy, living in a 150k house, and driving a usedToyota.

I didn't realize that was Chicago's tornado siren, but it's 100% the one that popped into my head. It just sounds viscerally wrong.
I'm going to admit that I rolled my eyes a bit when I clicked on the photo because the plating and small portion size seemed a little pretentious. But then I clicked into the comments and saw OP was a pretty chill dude/dudette who was just excited about something nice they made, and promptly felt like a judgy asshole.
Anyway, this looks objectively nicer than 99.5% of what I eat and probably tastes delicious, so nice job and sorry if you caught any subconscious negative vibes!
