I am curious, what kept you still reading the series? Is the story interesting, or just didn't have anything else interesting to read.

Thanks for mentioning fantasticfiction.com, I have seen it mentioned a couple of times, but always thought would check it later and then forgot.

Generally, I just use LibraryThing (and Wikipedia) and they usually have very uptodate information, but there is no way to subscribe to any author / series and get the updates, you have to manually look up the author / series. So a way to automatically get the update sounds nice.

The Far Reaches sounds great, I have heard great things about James S.A. Corey, Veronica Roth and John Scalzi. So, should look it up.

It's sad how relevant 1984 is in today's society.

I am probably as far from prose hound as you can get. Any recommendations for some of the best prose?

Ah, makes sense. Thanks for the info! Share your review when done.

Heh, that is a funny image. Though, people did use to carry gold / silver / copper coins, so maybe it's not that different. Different kind of spheres for different stuff, having couple of pouches on you, rest in some chest.

Yeah, he has interesting magic systems. That is one of the appeal of reading his Cosmere novels, to read different magic systems on different worlds.

I actually like his magic systems. Very scientific-y. If you didn't like his magic systems in Mistborn and Stormlight, don't read Elantris. ๐Ÿ˜€

Yeah, I used to do these challenges before, but sometimes they become a chore. Why not change the rules for yourself a bit, if the book becomes a drag, you can just leave it midway, and consider it done for the bingo challenge. That's what I do now, if I have have given it my best, for me it is as good as done.

Of course, if this is some kind of competition, then you should either finish it completely or don't mark that item, but these bingo cards are just for fun, and made to broaden your reading genre/author/etc, so you decide how you take them.

Heh, that is most probably true. On reddit, I too was subscribed to both bullet journal and fountain pens subs. Though, haven't joined it here (yet), it is not a healthy community for your wallet. ๐Ÿ˜€

I have more inks that I'll probably use in next decade, don't have enough pens though... also missing a few colours in ink...

Haha, take your time. No need to rush through.

Ah, nice.

BTW I heard there is another Witcher book in the works, releasing next year. Haven't confirmed the news yet though.
