you should really check out ann leckie and her ancillary justice series, probably one of my favorite series in the last 10 years

Thanks for the recommendation, going to check it out.

It's sad how relevant 1984 is in today's society.

Thanks for the feedback, going to check them at my local bookstore.

How are you liking the series? I haven't read Rhythm of War. By the time I got around to it, I realised I am going to have to re-read the whole series when the 5th one comes out, so didn't start it. Going to start the re-read next year, and will read it then.

At least this would let them temper their expectations. 😀

Thanks for the feedback. Guess I should just re-read the original trilogy first. The books aren't that big so shouldn't take to too long.

I was recently in the mood for some crime books, but now getting in the mood for more lovecraftian stuff, though haven't looked up anything in that genre yet.

Ah, a book by Chinese author, don't recall if I have read any (not counting Wuxia web-novels), how is it? Remarkably Bright Creatures also looks interesting. Adding both to my wish list.

Yeah, I am going to read them myself first. Thanks for the feedback!

The name Ringworld seems familiar, but I don't think I have ever read it. How are you liking the series?

Boowyrm is pretty nice, I took a look around a while back, but haven't moved to it as my main tracker. Currently using LibraryThing for my cataloging needs. It's a centralized site, but it's a pretty good one.
