This does not say she is bragging about doing anything sexual with Trump. She is trying to deny it.

What is your opinion of the idea that this position may make you indistinguishable from a Trump supporter?

The Democratic candidate is chosen at the convention, which hasn't happened yet. What would a legal contest even be based on?

From the article you linked to:

Election law expert Richard Hasen wrote that there is "no credence" to the notion that the Democratic Party could not legally replace Biden on the ticket, as he is not the nominee yet -- the nominating process generally takes place during the Democratic National Convention.

I'm not ready to encourage this because anybody can get pissed off for any reason. There is very little that a politician does that makes everybody happy.

What's the difference?

[-] dvoraqs@lemmy.world 26 points 3 months ago

Nope, our election system doesn't support it and actually has a spoiler effect because you end up tacitly supporting the other side by not voting for one of the two strongest parties.

There are other parties even in the US, but they are not taken seriously because they basically take away votes from the big party ideologically closer to them and so they are marginalized. Appropriately so given how FPTP works.

The election system is the real issue that needs to be fixed, and new finance rules around elections aren't going to make enough of a dent.

Biden is the strongest polling candidate against Trump

It is correct, though. They are writing from an international perspective, away from our little party games, so we are being lumped together.

If you don't like it, all it takes is changing general public sentiment enough to change elections in your favor and doing it enough for them to notice.

Sensitivity to smells will dissipate over a short time. Your senses will pay more attention to novel stimuli, so your nose will eventually get "bored" of it and stop even noticing it when you are acclimated enough.
