You're doing a good job fitting in with your peers.

Mission accomplished.

Nice automated response. Pretty sure that hasn't been an issue for years.

Linux Mint's website was hacked and they served a malicious ISO, but the useful idiot crowd never talks about that.

The snowball effect is real, and if you can't see it then you're probably a part of it.

The main reason why people hate on Manjaro is because it makes it easy to use a historically complicated distro. Anyone rational person who has been in the free software ecosystem for a substantial period of time will recognize that there are many morons, elitists, and losers who like to make things more complicated than they need to be to feel superior to others.

Also, people don't like when another distro is better than theirs, which Manjaro is for the vast majority of rational users.

Manjaro is the closest thing to Windows you're going to get.

I recommend it with KDE.

I'm getting tired of the heavy-handed moderation tactics used by people like Jordunlund for lemmy.world. It seems like most mods don't really care about their rules and will remove posts and ban people they don't like because they can.

Where can I find instances that don't do this? It's fine if I have to read people saying things I don't like or make me uncomfortable; if it really bothers me I can just block them and move on.

I don't want people like Jordunlund dictating what I get to see, though.

Edit: It's really sad how many of you get angry at the thought of someone who doesn't want random people on the internet cenosoring things from them. I chalk this up mostly to the snowball effect taking hold. Most of you only know censorship and people who support it, so you're going to do the same to look good in front of your peers.

Hopefully we can get more lemmy and fediverse instances that allow people to say what they want.

Censorship works, which is why so many of you have been conditioned to like it.

You people should look at nations that don't allow freedom of speech to see that kind of culture that you're really fighting for. I guarantee most of the people getting upset at the idea wouldn't like to live in places like Iran, Russia, or North Korea.

And of course, not a single person gave an actual answer or even tried to stay on topic.
