Modern Canadian conservatives aren’t the tame fiscal conservatives we used to have indeed. This violent steering of the right wing towards social conservatism is worrying as fuck, and should be for anyone but hard traditionalists. It’s insane to see anybody who cares about Canada support Trump in any way with how he fucked us over and over.

The user is describing iOS' share sheet, which Signal seems to advertise as a feature. The OS isn't reaching in and grabbing data, Signal is providing data to the OS.
Also note that said user signaled this on the Signal-Android repo, which combined with their inability to find this info, when i don't even own an iOS device, makes me think they aren't the most observant user out there.

The “Sol” name is actually more of a science-fiction, pop-culture thing. It’s just called “the Sun”. “Solar” comes from latin Solaris, meaning “pertaining to the sun”, “sol” itself meaning “sun”.
