Not sure if you're a troll, but if you're serious, nothing I say is going to change your mind, so I won't bother.
Maybe I should've worded my original comment better, because I never said we should just accept it. I explicitly think we shouldn't accept it by refusing to do business at places that push tipping instead of paying their staff proper wages.
Probably should've led with that.
I agree with you, actually. If you don't want to tip, fine, don't tip. But don't go to a restaurant and then not tip, either, because not only are you still giving the company money, you're shortchanging the actual person you want to help.
Look into Obtainium. Lets you install apps straight from the code repository's release page. I've moved to managing all my open source apps with it.
I went with a Pixel Fold for the same reason. It's squattier, so I can use it one handed, and the big screen can be nice on occasion. Really, thickness is the only issue I have with it.
Even if it works (which it does), it's dangerous to play any MHY game on Linux, as you almost definitely will get banned. There's a project I was using to play Honkai that supposedly disabled telemetry, but I still got a week-long ban. I currently play in a Windows VM by passing an extra GPU through, but that's not foolproof either and is also technically ban-worthy.
... No? I know for a fact mod actions federate to me because I can see them in the mod log and in the interface. I can see which posts and comments were removed and which users were banned.
Edit: If you're implying there's dissonance between me caring about mod actions federating to me, but not caring that my mod actions may or may not federate out, the difference is that I'm not hosting any communities. I have a tiny, inactive, special topic community, and support and announcement communities. If I was hosting a big, active community, obviously I would care a lot more about moderation federation.
I'm a long time Sync supporter and paid for ad-free Sync for Lemmy, but I can agree that Infinity is definitely a good competitor. I'm juggling them both right now, and they're both fantastic.
He's my go to Bowser Jr. skin in Smash Bros! He's so goofy, I love him.
I had a Flip 3, and while I loved the hardware, I strongly dislike One UI. I know it's gotten a lot better in recent years, but it just isn't as intuitive as Pixel OS (Does it have an official name? I know it's not stock AOSP.)
But I'm in absolute love with my Fold. I agree with most of your cons, but they're really not big deals for me.
I use a wired Xbox One S controller for most games, sometimes a wired Switch Pro controller for Nintendo games. Haven't noticed any latency with them, myself.
Correct. Unfortunately, it's something that each desktop environment or window manager has to implement themselves. But all the button is doing is moving some config files around, so you can probably do some digging to figure out what it's copying to where.
