The quality of an invention has nothing to do with profitability. People actively fight competing products and ideas. A good invention is worth nothing unless you whore it out to existing industry

Just FYI, you need very little skill to clone the WiFi access gateway of a hotel WiFi, and then blast their SSID from your router, to lure close guests into your honeypot. Once people are on your malicious gateway, the fun starts.

In a hotel with hundreds of hackers on alcohol, it's not unlikely for people to fuck around.

There is also no requirement to be a "good guy" to attend the conference.

A single malfunctioning service that restarts in a loop can exhaust the limit near instantly. And now you can't bring up any of your services, because you're blocked.

I've been there plenty of times. If you have to rely on docker.io, you better pay up. Running your own NexusRM or Harbor to proxy it can drastically improve your situation though.

Docker is a pile of shit. Steer clear entirely of any of their offerings if possible.

Given how accessible music is, how accessible musicians are on social media, the fact that you probably have to travel to the venue, shit like COVID, eardrum shattering PA systems that make ear plugs a requirement, what is the appeal today even? And then it costs a thousand bucks?

I understand fun, but I feel like you could get a better deal if you're just looking for a good time.

Of things to deny that happened, I'd be much rather caught in a porn booth with my dick in hand, than in a holocaust, ngl

I'd be more worried about media than the ability to pirate it.

Music has adapted to generate plays. Platforms are already being polluted with genAI music.

TV was replaced by streaming services. Series come and go and are very specifically tailored to get people to subscribe. Exclusives are the standard. Single season productions are not uncommon. People are also already investigating ways to pollute this pool with genAI as well.

Movies are a stream of Marvel and Disney garbage that was already more CGI than acting. Now genAI and upscaled classics are on the menu.

Piracy will not go away. People used to record movies with camcorders in the cinema, now they pull raw files from CDN nodes. There is always the scene. The platforms that try to profit from the scene come and go.

I put a banana on my screen for reference and your banana seems laughable. No penis joke intended

I wonder what kind of situation lead to waiting staff guaranteeing allergen free food, when the food in front of them is clearly only partially marked with specific flags. I'd rather take the order back and double check before I kill someone

I still find it fascinating that you can go to jail because there's an IP address in a log file somewhere or because of a screenshot of a messenger communication.

As others have pointed out, it's actually: et al.

You're mad about nothing.
