Oh, so they're upset now? What about, you know, when Trump stole a shit-ton of top secret documents that he very probably attempted to sell and at the very least definitely stored improperly and used a lot of lying and juggling to keep hold of? After he attempted to overthrow the government on Jan 6th. If they had moved faster, we wouldn't even be having this whine-fest, because he wouldn't have gotten re-elected from prison.

Click-bait titling at its best. Apparently their attempt at controversy boils down to this:

In a short snippet aired Thursday afternoon, however, Harris was shown answering questions about her changing stance on certain policy issues, including immigration and fracking. Harris said that her values haven’t shifted over the years, but sometimes her policy beliefs have shifted as she’s gotten more perspective on issues.

Why are people still using a site bought and run by a guy supporting the rise of Christian fascism solely for the purposes of getting tax breaks on his ill-gotten billions?

Musk finalized the purchase…

Everyone absolutely thought the original click wheel iPod, the iPhone and the iPad were all doomed to fail. Hell, the Apple watch didn't exactly get off to a hot start for that matter.

And back at the beginning, the Mac OS GUI. Yes, Steve Jobs saw the idea of a graphical GUI at Xerox Park, but what his engineers turned out is something completely different. And at the time it was easily as revolutionary as the touchscreen interface of the iPhone.

Actual duds by Apple that I can think of off the top of my head:

  • The Cube
  • The Mac IIcx
  • The Mac IIfx
  • Whatever that ungodly massive Unix box was that they branded as Apple
  • The liquid cooled G5 cheesgrater

Unfortunately my senator is the traitorous Sinema, so she’s worse than useless. Just got an email from her rationalizing this power grab today after writing her and asking she not support it a few months back. 🙄

The thing about a report like this is you could just as easily have gotten an asymptomatic COVID infection at some point and now be experiencing long COVID rather than symptoms as a result of the vaccine itself.

We have a person in the office who is now dead set against having any more vaccines because her blood pressure has increased a lot recently and she's positive its vaccine-related. But that seems fairly unlikely, plus she has been someone who after a few vaccines started claiming she'd had doctors tell her that COVID wasn't that bad, so she's traveled a ton compared to almost everyone else in the office, which to my mind makes it much more likely she got an asymptomatic version and now is suffering after-effects of that.

But then again, I'm not medical professional either. This is just me pointing out that correlation is not causation.

If the article mentioned babies with their heads chopped off it could be a disinformation thing? Supposedly that story has been circulated with zero fact check and only one source, who has made previous online comments basically in favor of a Palestine genocide.

Back to school kevlar sales! Keep your child safe and fashionable!

But more seriously, it is so past time to actually regulate trucks and SUVs. We are here because congress left a "light truck" loophole in their legislation decades ago and never closed it. No other country in the world uses almost exclusively gas-guzzling trucks and SUVs instead of smaller, more efficient cars to the extreme extent we do.

You know what would slow it down a lot? Legislating that anything created with data sets using publicly available data cannot be copyrighted or trademarked. And while we're at it, lets create a bill of privacy rights for people.

I would disable any custom fonts you have added to Windows too. Or at least check them for font conflicts. And check the reliability reporter to see if it says anything in particular about the days when FF crashes.

EDIT: I also just noticed you have a VPN in your plugins. The Firefox VPN used to behave pretty wonkily if it got a bad connection and could look like everything was frozen. This would be my immediate prime suspect if you think it’s extensions.

I also agree a fresh profile is a huge pain but worth a shot if all else fails. It can make a difference when you can’t trace down what about:config you boned horribly haha.

I like resistFingerprinting = true but it may be a bit much for some people. You lose some keyboard hotkey capabilities in RES and all your windows always open at a certain size upon relaunch/new window.
