I have been using Librewolf for several months now, and I am quite happy with it. In terms of user privacy, Librewolf by default has some strict settings enabled, like Resist Fingerprinting. Resist Fingerprinting does cause some minor problems, like incorrect timezones, but there is a workaround, as stated on the Librewolf website.

I'm a huge fan of the Marx Brothers. All their movies are in black and white. Their best movies (in my opinion) are:

  • Horse Feathers
  • Monkey Business
  • Duck Soup
  • A Night at the Opera

Abbott and Costello had some good movies too. Here are my suggestions:

  • Meet the Invisible Man
  • Meet the Killer
  • Hold that Ghost
  • Meet the Mummy

Bing Crosby and Bob Hope made a few "Road To..." movies together, but the one I like the most is Road to Morocco.

What's your use case for NFC on your Pixel 4A?

Welcome, friend! Glad you decided to try out and stick with Mint. That's the distro I used as my daily driver for at least 1.5 years. When you have a chance, do try out some of the other Linux distros, especially Arch!

Cool! That's the one I voted for!

I am no fan of Brave, but is there a way we can configure our Kagi preferences to exclude results from Brave Search? I think SearXNG allows for that. Under SearXNG preferences, there's an Engines tab, and under that, I can configure which search engines to enable and return results for my search. I haven't found anything like that on Kagi yet, but if anyone knows of a way to do it, please share.

A wise decision! Welcome, and I hope you continue to have fun with Linux! Linux Mint is a great starting distro. If you ever get around to installing VirtualBox, I recommend you also try Pop OS. I personally prefer that distro on laptops.

Sigh...this is only going to make things even worse!

I think Pop OS might work on that model, and if it does, I would highly recommend it, as the DE is very similar to macOS. If I recall correctly, that distro also has multitouch trackpad functions that behave similar to those on the MacBook.
