I'm reading my comment and it is still funny to me. I'm just a bad person I guess.

You sound like a person who hasn't been peer reviewed

Haha I love Gell-Mann amnesia. A few weeks ago there was news about speeding up the internet to gazillion bytes per nanosecond and it turned out to be fake.

Now this thing is all over the internet and everyone believes it.

Nah, I guess tips will cover the repairs

I don't know, it's just an urge to interfere with the US politics in any way

Looks like you're right

Visualization looks misleading then

Everything is an abstraction. A cat is an abstraction. There's no cat, only an animal living in your apartment that looks like other similar animals.

What makes this money fake you'd ask? Probably because you cannot buy lettuce for it. Only illegal stuff, money, other fake money and, in some places, you can buy a hotel room for a few nights. Idk, crypto looks more like a commodity than currency to me.

I don't understand why, tho I do not have any kind of expertise here.

I suggest (Haven't read it), this paper proposes to send much denser and broadened signals around one carrier frequency (they use single mode). Due to dispersion they

  1. Start to overlap with one each other. If you put more frequencies, you would have more overlaps and I fail to see how it won't lead to errors.

  2. They all arrive at the broader time window, which again could be mitigated either by error correction, or by extending the time window.

That's the different kind of lefties. I am talking about tankies that think that Russia and China are socialist states that fight the big imperialist

[-] humbletightband@lemmy.dbzer0.com -2 points 7 months ago

Wtf are you assuming

[-] humbletightband@lemmy.dbzer0.com -1 points 7 months ago

Why? The Russian government spends enormous sum on soldiers salaries, paying unthinkable $2000/mo.

What's your point? They don't really pay this much? Or maybe the war has elevated 1m families of soldiers, while it was compensated by other events?
