yeah, sorry ig I misread.
I like XMPP, but there's also LXMF(a bit more experimental, only for 'advanced' users) or simply signal or simplex.
I also momentarily forgot about it, but there's waydroid! if we modify it a bit(make it look more normal, like make it think some common apps are installed), we should be able to get it to run banking apps. also just don't use fingerprints(but that could also be implemented).
the problem with gold is that a lot of rich people probably do have a lot of it, and that people would start mining for it.
but goldback without the gold would be nice...
well need a wine for android. or just a vm. EDIT: I momentarily forgot about waydroid...
yeah but it can be misleading, something can have a "low carbon footprint" and still produce a lot of methane or other gases...
yeah, uBlock origin usually works, but it doesn't block everything. uMatrix is a bit of a compromise between ublock origin and disabling javascript.
with ublock origin you would have to edit the blocklist and add the url you want to block/unblock. with umatrix you have a table like this:
you can block/unblock domains, and also change the global configuration. I, by default, block all javascript and XHR and enable some if they are needed.
it was a reference to: "Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows."
what about more minimal office apps, like calligra?
