That'd a band-aid solution to cover up deeper problems.

Take from those who have too much and give it to those who have too little. Simple, but effective.

I stongly believe most criminals become violent because they don't care about the damage they cause others and only focus on what benefits themselves.

That was a societal shift that we never recovered from.

Interesting.

Hydrogen is extremely dangerous as a fuel source and we shouldn't expect to see it used in the consumer market for awhile.

My brother had to be convinced to get the vaccine.

He's legitimately removed (I'm trying to say "re-tar-ded", but apparently it automatically saying "removed." Seriously? We're not allowed to say "re-tar-ded", a completely accurate medical term?) and had to go to a special school because of it.

I think a lot of conservatives fall into this camp, but don't realize it because of how poor social programs are in red states.

"Hit or miss" is unfortunately not good enough for consumer electronics.

It means you're essentially gambling with bad odds so the business you're giving money to can get away with cutting corners.

This isn't unique to computing.

Just about all of the products and technology we see are the results of generations of innovations and improvements.

Look at the automobile, for example. It's really shaped my view of the significance of new industries; we could be stuck with them for the rest of human history.

The people who do the hiring are part of a business' expenses, not its profit.

They will still be doing their job like they normally do.

I assume a company that is allowed to have profit will be able to offer higher wages to be competitive

Where do they get that money? By charging you and I more than what a product costs to produce and bring to market. If people had higher standards (which they don't), then they would go to the business that gives them the best deal.

Right now we live in a culture where people are proud to spend more money even if it's for a worse product. Everything is backwards regarding personal financial responsibility which is why there is so much excess yet most people still think they "need" more money.

If they make more with tips, then they don't get to complain when somebody doesn't tip them.

plus the minimum 20% tax tip

Where are you eating that has a 20% minimum tip? I've only seen stuff like that for big groups.

Hm, I never used songsterr but guitartabs has always been based for me.

I kinda stopped using tabs years ago and just started learning by ear though... [subtle brag]

Right. I'm talking about this specific instance, not China as a whole.

You know, this is exactly why the West hates terrorism.

It works, but doesn't cost a ton of money.

If it wasn't for Hamas attacking Israel, none of these people would care about the continued oppression of Palestinians.

Fuck zionists.
