You posted something that's bad practice (for many reasons, including security). Like, nobody cared about your software habits until you posted them publically with no prompting. probably so you could act smug after getting downvoted.

So you know you can do an easy action to make some people's lives better, to delay fascism, and save minorities from a plan to essentially wipe them out, but you won't because of principles? Because of some notion that the Democratic party will learn from losing?

You know that they lost in 2020 to a fascist. This already happened and the result was 4 years of hell for every minority group in the country. Why do you think this would be any better, or accomplish anything?

Is this a right meme? My interpretation is that (white) people in the 50s took advantage of the excess of the time, but now everything is expensive and it's hard for anyone to afford basic needs.

You're forgetting economies of scale. Let's take phone plans. A few giant companies have infrastructure (cell towers) built across the country. Coverage is extremely important - a phone plan with coverage in a small area isn't anything anyone will want. How is a third party supposed to compete? They'd need enough money to set up nation-wide infrastructure, contracts with phone manufacturers to make sure phones are compatable, and they need to do all that before they even sell anything. Even if you try to compete, how do you make your prices competitive after spending that huge amount of money?

Because android focuses on one app per screen, having a main launcher makes sense. But for windows, that idea doesn't really translate. You can download programs to replace or change certain aspects, like rain meter or classic shell, but I don't think anything exists that bothers to overhaul everything.

There is a similar thing to launchers on Linux though, called desktop environments. These will change the behavior and ui of the entire desktop experience.
