And if you use one, are you happy with it?

I'm trying to get more into privacy and security and VPN is currently a struggle for me (and it seems also for some people in my social circle). It's mostly cost, effectiveness, but also connection issues (not being able to connect to servers, not reaching websites, sometimes slower speed.

China is the child amongst toddlers.

In this analogy. Children and toddlers would likely do much better than the current adults.

She is the beacon of hope for humanity. She stands for the values that represent the best in us. And she not only tells us how it is, she leads the way.

Very good. We should all join/support them.

Agree with all points except the availability of plastic.

There might have been more wood, but the mass of plastic is enormous. I remember that it's more than the mass of all animals. The value should be from this study, but it's closed access, so I can't check.

For humanity, there is. The impact we're facing right now is the end of civilization before the end of the century. The impact we're facing if we don't act within 3 years is extinction. The speed of these impacts may vary slightly, though.

That's great news. But rather ironic that the argument is that the data is useful/necessary for business. Not that's it's useful/necessary for human rights or other unimportant things.

The way these protesters is a disgrace for our democracies. Why are there no riots? Why are we so numb towards these injustices?

If we don't act, it will cut the economy to zero.

Record sentences for climate protestors in England and Uganda, criminalization in Germany.

Examples:

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/article/2024/may/23/alarm-as-german-climate-activists-charged-with-forming-a-criminal-organisation

The real criminals are the fossil fuel industry and the politicians allowing them to destroy our world for their own profit.

There is something you can do. You can get into and support climate activism.

This is a devastating message to civil rights. Let's turn it into strength for the movement and support activism around the world.
