Howdy, sister! Oh wow, it never occurred to me that it was an option. Jadzia is a supremely cool (and honorable) name. Ah damn, too late for me, already started the name change process lol

Yes, they're a publisher. They supposedly have/had a small team working on a Blade Runner game, but they have yet to release a game they developed on their own. Publishing is their thing, so Annapurna Interactive is kinda fucked. I mean, jeez, it looks bad, I mean they all walked out.

That's the episode. It got a fair bit of press when it aired due to the "lesbian kiss", which probably sounds ridiculous now, but that was like...wow, literally two generations ago. It was a wild time, it was just a year earlier that the U.S. military released its official policy on sexual orientation, which basically amounted to pretending that nobody is gay. On a personal note, I remember crying like a baby at the end of this episode when I first saw it and not understanding why it affected me so deeply. And holy crap, I'm now realizing it was my subconscious screaming "That's you, dummy!!"

The 1982 video features the band performing the song onstage, with drummer Cozy Powell sitting in for Ian Paice, who originally played on the track. This version is more bluesy, raw and understated than the later versions and includes the line “like a hobo I was born to walk alone," which was later replaced by “like a drifter …” because Coverdale was worried that the word “hobo” could be misheard as “homo."

Check out how news orgs are covering this story.

Associated Press: "Milwaukee hotel employees fired after death of Black man who was pinned to the ground"

NBC: "Video shows Black man being pinned down by Milwaukee hotel security shortly before death"

CBS: "Milwaukee hotel workers fired after death of Black man pinned down outside"

ABC: "Al Sharpton to deliver eulogy for Black man who died after being held down by Milwaukee hotel guards"

CNN: "A Black man died after he was pinned to the ground by security guards at a Milwaukee hotel. Now his family wants answers"

Fox 6 Milwaukee: "Hyatt Regency Milwaukee death; man’s family gathers outside hotel"

Fox News: ""

These are the earliest stories posted by each outlet that I could find. The headlines speak volumes. The local Fox affiliate omits the fact that the man was black in the headline, and Fox News has yet to acknowledge it even happened, which was 12 days ago (June 30). I'm sure they'll get around to it, though.

Republican candidate for Missouri Secretary of State Valentina Gomez – who rages at all things “weak and gay”

So much Boomer energy. Too bad it can't be used for anything other than hate.

Edit: nvm, I changed something in settings, it was user error. Pls disregard

Hi Thunder devs, I have an accessibility issue to report regarding the special styling for original poster and mod names (changed with the last major release). I haven't checked against WCAG, but I'm pretty sure they don't meet color contrast standards; it's pretty hard to read the grey text, especially over the 'mod' orange.

Otherwise, no complaints. I really dig Thunder, I chose it as my daily driver after months of testing alongside Voyager, Eternity, and Jerboa. It just feels more responsive and intuitive, and the customization options are quite good. Nice work!

Rowling quote from the article:

Scottish lawmakers seem to have placed higher value on the feelings of men performing their idea of femaleness, however misogynistically or opportunistically, than on the rights and freedoms of actual women and girls.

It's difficult to accept that someone I used to respect could say such hateful things about people like me. I'm not gonna lie, it hurts to read. What the fuck, Joanne? Is that all I am to you... just a man "performing" my idea of femaleness? Well, fuck you, then. Should I wish for you to feel the same pain you've inflicted on others? To be honest, judging by your "performance" in the media the past several years, I don't think you're resilient enough to survive it.

A few of us did leave comments and posts behind telling people where to go, but they quickly got deleted by the mod. Sorry, we tried. Glad you managed to find us!
