Because lots of people are stuck with CMSs like Wordpress and need to have nginx/PHP/MySQL running somewhere.

In order to use something like GitHub Pages, you need a proper deployment pipeline, which a regular person won’t be able to set up.

I actually thought about automatic posting to Lemmy, but that would require manual approval by mods for the bot account + it would send 3-6 posts at once (that’s how Apple publishes security docs) which mods probably will consider as too much spam. If I can get an approval, I’ll happily implement this (the more communication channels the safer everyone is).

Channel with alerts for when Apple releases patches for actively exploited vulnerabilities in iOS and macOS. Auto updates are good, but it’s best to update straight away and not worry.
