Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic.

It's like Cities: Skylines mixed with Factorio.

I remember reading a study from Japan a few years ago. It related the country's percent GDP investment in renewables vs power consumption of the population over time. The conclusion was, that the more GDP they invested in renewable power generation, the more overall power was available, which the population consumed.

Old power sources didn't go away. There is just another source available. It's an addictive effect, not a replacement of power sources.

I tried searching for the article again a few months later, but I couldn't find it.. I wouldn't be surprised if it was removed or hidden, considering it is objective evidence against being able to buy our way of this problem.

"Lawyers are responsible"

They're responsible for the lax climate regulations. They are also responsible for putting more strict regulations in place.

There should be studies being done to find out which form of eco-sabotage has the biggest impact on CO2 reduction. Something along the lines of this website.

I wish you could browse to see which airports are used. Could be a good resource for scheduling protests

Next you'll be telling me that prisons profit from more prisoners, so they invest in increasing crime rates.

Or the Military industrial complex profits from war, so they invest in pro-war propaganda and detailing foreign countries...

As far as sugar production for profit goes, it's way better than the process for high fructose corn syrup production.

And at the rate that insect populations are declining, any additional insects will help.

People love to see exotic animals, but hate the biodiversity required for such animals to exist.

Rodents attract foxes, coyotes, snakes, and birds of prey. All of which are parts of a healthy ecosystem. Additionally, some rodents are beneficial to the local environment.

I think ticks are the biggest worry, but I'm my eyes, they're just mosquitos that can't fly.
