thank you so much. I've been on german ever since monday haha
I use ProtonMail. Additionally, i have set up e-mail aliases with my domain - i get e-mail addresses like kbin@mydomain.com, or personal@mydomain.com. Its quite useful when i suddenly get sent a bunch of random spam e-mail.
I can then just block that e-mail from receving e-mail, its quite handy.
its funny i see this now, after spending 3 hours debugging D:
I'm not on beehaw, but kbin.
Though, i do play on my nintendo switch from time to time. The games are mad expensive so i keep most of my games on the desktop computer.
I use GitHub Desktop - offered by GitHub themself. Its a GUI application where you can fetch, push, pull etc. But mostly just basic github "commands".
With a bit of basic VM knowledge, this operation can be done for free. I run VMs myself to run certain macros and some windows stuff. As i am primarily a linux user.
EDIT: BUt good point @firecat . I think a VM should do the trick.
I agree. While some users are able to leave the platform, most will stick around - but as you mentioned, they will definitely struggle financially.
i feel that, i have lerked on reddit for so many years. But i am ready to make a change, and do my best to make these platforms the new home of the internet.
Yeah it really does. I've been playing Live For Speed for years on linux, which is a windows game.
I found out early on that Proton Experimental works the best for me.
I was made aware of this tool Redact - which deletes your digital footprint.
That might be something worth trying?

i came here to mention Affinity Designer, but Photo is a great one.
It should be mentioned that Affinity Designer can be considered a combination between illustrator and photoshop.
