Wow, this is possibly the most stereotypically lemmy post ("lemmy users either like Star Trek, Linux or both") I've seen in a while.
This actually made me laugh, thank you!
But please, does anyone here want to mod an Expanse meme sub? I need memes like this in my life but I don't have the time to mod and I don't wanna go back to reddit :(
Can anyone explain to me why the handcuffs are tied to a chain around his body? It's obviously to limit his arm movement so he can't put someone in a e.g. a chokehold, but why are they not just holding his arms in that case? IIRC it's my first time seeing a chain used for that. Are they so afraid of him?

How has nobody memed this yet? You guys seem waaay too comfortable sharing personal information for the fact that this is the website of linux nerds, don't you care about online privacy?
Rummages my brain in EU (Could you pls explain who this references? Assuming this is even referencing a single person. Google listed Jim Inhofe's wikipedia when I looked up "us senator mountains" but the article didn't say anything about mountains)
If a friend was sending their pretty legally obtained books that they downloaded from different website via the TOR browser to themselves via Telegram to have an easy way to download them on their tablet, should they stop that and connect their tablet to their PC via an USB cable instead?
Asking for a friend.
I always thought these were at least 50% ironic. Please don't tell me you don't actually want websites OP.
It looks to be past-this-year-april-recent since the icon next to the username was a thing tumblr did for April Fools this year.
(Sorry old man)
(I hope this works, it should show a shitty meme I made on my phone)
Damn so 196 is where all the Expanse fans are?! Because they're certainly not on tumblr and I don't wanna go back to ~~reddit~~ just for some Expanse memes
Yes, that's exactly it, thank you!
I checked another device where I got Fennec installed and it still works just fine there since I don't have automatic updates enabled and it's still on 139.0.4. But by the looks of it it seems to be intentional and I think I vaguely remember either F-Droid or some other place even advertising Fennec with that feature.
I just installed Ironfox to check and I'm running into the same issue there. I'd also be fine with a browser that lets me enable closing all tabs and deleting all history and cache upon closing the browser, private mode was just an all in one solution for that.
Are those too specific demands for a browser for android? I thought these were very basic wishes a user might have...
