I think you got the response we all expected you'd get.
I wonder why we don't hear about open source anti-virus even though I think there are a couple of them out there.

Do you have any reading material suggestions with usenet?
Private trackers sound like hard work. Sounds like you pay a fee to have access to the tracker and you need to have a good upload ratio to not be kicked out.
Why not both?
It seems to be seen across all platforms.
What I find interesting is that no one is asking about the quality of code, nor do they seem concerned about the dependencies but they do care about that one package/app/program of any size they see and don't immediately know why it's there.
24 kibibytes. I dislike the annoying difference between kiB and kB, etc, etc as I also think in kB and MB as the binary values because that's how I was taught for many years.
Rootful docker and rootless docker can be run at the same time on the same machine too. So projects that require root privileges can still work on a machine where most other projects run as rootless.
I think I'm mistaken. I have no idea where I got it from but I must have seen something to give me the illusion. Ignore what I said.

Or alternatively, know when your submissions/comments are not welcome and you should find an alternative community.
Where can modlogs be found?
Personally I dislike shadow banning/hiding/deleting, but I'm never intentionally an ass hole - even though I'm sure there are occasional moments where it comes across that way. I wonder how many people are motivated enough to create new accounts to circumvent bans/content deletion.

People in general just being asses.
I'm not saying that Lemmy is perfect but it feels like both can have a similar vibe. A lot of Lemmy people were/still are Reddit people and so it makes sense that both have similar vibes.
I dislike the pricing structure. Their family plan indicates the true cost of YouTube premium. To me it indicates that for a single person plan, the price should be about 1/3-1/2 of its current price.
If it really came down to it and they continue the current pricing structure, they I'd begrudgingly pay. And don't get me wrong, I'd pay for it now if the price for an individual plan was more reasonable.
