That's part of why I only download released episodes and movies. Cam rips suck ass, and there's too much risk of downloading garbage that isn't the real file.
Agreed. Graphene is a fantastic product, but the devs are absolutely insufferable.
Ah yes, migrating a foreground user process to a background system process.
PiHole is becoming a bit heavy for my Zero W (uses the same chip as the original Pi series), and it's the only thing the Pi runs. It's a bit worrying.
getting rid of the apple tax is good for consumers.
I mean that's not wrong. I had no idea Apple was double-dipping like this. I wonder if Google is doing the same thing...
Good. If I download an app with the intent to pay a content creator who uses that app to post content, I don't see why my choice of app store should have any bearing on how much of that money goes to the content creator, nor why the company who hosts that app on their store should get any income from said internal payments whatsoever.
Patreon (and everyone else) already pays Apple to simply host the app in their store. Apple is double-dipping by doing this and throwing an absolute fit comparable to that of a toddler who was just told "no".
We have a couple Apple TVs. As much as I dislike the walled garden, they are very good for what they are.
Same here! We had it on a Macintosh LC 575. I will never forget those sound effects haha.
I cut up the cardboard and use it for various things around the house, like putting it under the car when I do an oil change, or as liners for the wire rack shelving in my cold storage.
I have a childhood friend who was very recently diagnosed with autism. We talked a little while ago and he brought it up. My first thought was "ah, yep, that explains a lot".
He's still a great friend. It didn't change anything about him, rather it helped make sense of his behaviors that we all just saw as "that's just how [friend] is".
In Chinese, "X" makes a "sh" sound.
Take from that what you will.
They're both ai generated.
