How do these people watch conspiratorial content and miss the fact that pale male European colonialism literally is the conspiracy?
Oh and I love when I sort by price and half the results disappear.
It's no exaggeration sometimes it takes a dozen different how-to blogs and stack overflows to find an example where somebody has exactly what you need and nothing more. So many people add so much fluff and unusual structures that the thing they're claiming the code does can't even be found.
Public domain? Creative commons? MIT? BSD? GPL? You mean I'm allowed to use these things without failing?
Easy access to phone numbers? Did they flash an amnesia light to make them forget how Arabic numerals work? Literally all you have to do is look at a phone book to see what the valid area codes and exchanges are then robodial away.
Wasn't everybody saying the opposite like 3 months ago?
My landlords wife yelled at the plumber for sealing our bathroom wall back up when the shower spigot was still leaking, and then her husband comes in and says "honey stop we don't need to pay to fix the valve if we don't have to". So my shower still leaks and they really fixed nothing because they didn't want to spend $1000 (less than half our rent) to redo the shower.
Go for it, anything for the right to be taken less seriously than the left is a win.
Where are all the people who say "if you don't like it just get another job" when this happens. Especially if you're a temp and you could literally walk across the street and get another job.
Exactly, off the record means the expectation is Meta will be given free expertise to gain an edge on their competitors. Don't give diddly squat to actors who want to commercialize your content. It will never end well for you, only Meta.
Seriously, if you want to see them squirm, hit them with a wall of silence. They clearly feel they need something and, for Meta, negative feedback is better than no feedback at all.
It saves a ton of time. I've worked with clients before and I'll put a lorem ipsum as a placeholder for text they're supposed to provide. Then the client will send me a note saying there's a mistake and the text needs to be in English. If the text is almost close enough to what the client wants, they might actually read it and send edits if you're lucky.
