Actually I just started doing this and got a 7 DVD changer. Same as what I spend in a month for all these random streaming services.

Which is interesting to say the least given that most cars from the past few years use LTE radios which will eventually work about as well as cars from the early 2000s with OnStar.

More than full retail most of the time! They're not even bothering to compete with Walmart or Target anymore on the same products.

Image AIs are terrible for text, it's like they're dreaming about letter shaped objects. Once out of hundreds of times I was able to get it to do a picture of a shop where the sign actually said Grocery.

Maybe but they'd probably just sunset the project anyway and in ten years it will look more like a stain on my resume than a badge. Plus traffic on Willow Road is a no for me dawg.

What does JIT really mean though in the context of consumer goods? There's plenty of stores stocked full of stuff that will be on the shelves until the food expires. Sure some stuff like TP got wiped out but nobody was buying the random brand of wild rice I like. Does that mean we should have more regional stores of specific items that move quickly instead of trucking it all from Bentonville?

Sort of, you don't have to subscribe to their communities or follow users from Meta. We don't want to talk with Facebook users, that's not why we're here. There isn't a single person on Facebook who would feel disrupted if they suddenly didn't see my content anymore, either.

Yep they'll be a good actor until they're the biggest instance and they'll try to turn the fediverse into whatever verse they're feeling like that week and shove it down our throats. We'll end up right back here in 3 years of we choose as a community to federate (i.e. give free content) to Meta.

I've definitely noticed for sure. Food generally tastes like nothing now. I used to love sushi growing up and now you can't even taste the difference between the fish and the rice.

Because the nuance of calling a PC a PC is that it supports a standard motherboard configuration and any Linux kernel will be able to boot. Mobile devices aren't like this and every component requires a specialized driver to work.
