I don’t think this is accurate. It says Apple is the leading phone where I live, but the large majority of people here are too poor for an iPhone. Plus you rarely see people with them outside the rich areas of the city.

I think about this sometimes. What stuff can't you do in a Linux GUI that an average person would be able to do in Windows? For the sake the simplicity, lets limit the GUI to Cinnamon, Plasma, or Gnome.

Obviously, there are obscure GUIs out there, but in the main ones, I think just about everything can be done without CLI.

I have so many working phones that have not received security updates for a long time. It is a shame, as I need a second phone and they are perfectly suitable but I worry about how safe they are to use.

What’s going on here?

I live in a third world Asian country. The public transport in the city is terrible. There are very few train stops and they move slowly.

You may have to wait for multiple train cars to come as there are so many people and when you finally get on one you are so jam packed that you literally can’t take a deep breath.

Ride shares cost as much as owning a car without the benefit of ownership. Also taking the bus here has long lines at rush hour and you may wait for over an hour to get onto a bus.

So having a car while it’s not necessary, I don’t think I can be blamed for it. It will literally save me hours of waiting for available public transportation.

The last time my wife and I took the train, while wearing masks, we both got Covid. We were vaccinated and had a booster and still got it. That alone made us decide to not take the train anymore as it’s too risky to do so.

We can pay maybe 6x as much on a ride share , but if we get Covid we are both out of work for at least a week. Not to mention the suffering.

Why wouldn’t it count?

It’s like a side quest anyway. I do t think I ever got them all as a kid. But I still consider the game finished.

Do you really need someone else’s approval on this?

Possible spoiler…..

I made it to the cave with the mushroom people. What act is that? I think it might still be act 1, but I’m not sure.

They mentioned something about authentication changes. So I’m guessing it’s related to that.

So what if the vps hands your data to the feds and the feds are like hey, why was your vps torrenting Paul blart mall cop 2?

What do you say to that?

That’s my only concern with hosting my own vps.

I don’t know what it is about this game, but it feels like home.

I have so many memories of playing this game. I’ve played through it at least 3 times. I usually do all the quests lines. I’m actually feeling the need to do it again.

So, then why don’t you just not get divorced and let other people do whatever they want?

If you are using a vpn all the time, then I would not bother with pi-hole.

The vpn will use its own dns most likely. If you use your home dns that may make the vpn less private.

But pihole can block others apps telemetry, not just stuff in the browser. For example, it can block windows stuff.

Also, it has been able to block ads in apps.
