Is it under the Los Compadres Taco Truck?
Maybe, except all the examples of cops going from zero to "shooty-mcshooty-pants" as soon as they see or suspect you have a gun.
And someone who's part of a cult, or a significant other who is abused, will try to recruit people to their cause or downplay the violence or dig in deeper with their abusers.
Don't get me wrong, those who perpetuate the hate on the conservative side are rat bastards who have no place in society. However, those on the consumption end have been programmed to think this way. Deprogramming takes a lot of time and requires the cult member to want to learn more and get out. However, forcefully removing a cult member will usually just push them back to the cult harder.
Either these Republican rubes die or start investigating other sources of info. Either way, we have a long fight ahead of us, and that's only if we can cut off the head of the snake and stop the cult at the top.
The culture of individualism will be extremely hard to move past at this point. Also, the wealthy won't let it happen. If you think the police are only there to protect the wealthy's investments, just wait till we actually get some traction on any sort of labor movement.
It really is a concerning situation that is going to turn November+ into a nightmare. Hopefully, we see an article about tRump being found dead as a headline if the SCOTUS slobs up the asinine defense of total immunity. That's the only way I think this can resolve without a constitutional disaster. He's basically daring someone to do something and I, for one, hope the "find out" part comes for him.
Maybe not the moonshine-addled MAGA crowd, but there are plenty of faux Republicans (centrists) who may.
I've seen this movie many times and introduced many to it. It's one of those movies that sticks with you. I think about it a lot, I find, drawing parallels to it all the time.
Tell me you don't know how FPtP voting systems work by not telling me you don't know how FPtP voting works. Please read up on it and the "spoiler effect."
Any vote for a third party is a vote against your preferred candidate. It happens with any first-past-the-post voting and two parties is the eventual end result. Eventually multiple parties get eliminated by voters who don't want their vote to go to waste.
That's why they haven't stopped saying it about 2020. Repeat a lie enough and it becomes true...
It's pretty sad that my state ethics process is stricter than the federal government's.
This word hurt my tongue!
