Sounds like you're making steady progress in spite of the circumstances and that's the most important thing solidarity

I've started eating a fruit salad every day, highly recommended. I'm currently on vacation bloomer so my plan for the next week is to play videogames and cuddle my pets. The sigma grindset will continue two weeks from now. Until then I just want to relax squidward-chill

Two books that helped me write my master's thesis:

  • Umberto Eco - How to Write a Thesis

  • Paul Silvia - How to Write a Lot

They are both short and concise so they won't add to your reading list. I'm certain they are both available for download on Library Genesis.

I was also using the pomodoro method, which is when you focus on one thing for 25 minutes without any distractions and then take a break for 5 minutes. It really works, I wouldn't be able to write my thesis without it. There are some pomodoro timers online that are easy to use.

Good luck! solidarity

And of course check out this banger

It's like watching a person open an empty box, close it, and open it again hoping there's something in there this time. Over and over again.

ok but what if there is a hypothetical cat in the box which may be considered simultaneously both alive and dead, while it is unobserved in a closed box, as a result of its fate being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur? You need to open the box to see if it is alive or dead bazinga

What kind of books are you into? I'm currently reading How Not to Die by Michael Greger and it's already the most important book I've ever read. It explains why the whole-foods plant-based diet is the healthiest diet. It's an evidence based book, the last 200 pages of the book is a list of studies that the author referenced in the book.

In regards to fiction, here are some of my favourites:

  • On The Road - Jack Kerouac
  • Generation X - Douglas Coupland
  • Of Mice and Men - John Steinbeck

Have you tried drinking green tea instead of coffee? It's a great choice if you're trying to moderate your caffeine intake.

In regards to walking, I have a step counting app on my phone and try to get 6000 steps every day. It's a good way to motivate yourself to walk more bridget-yoyo-walk

If you like FTL, I recommend Cobalt Core. It's a 10/10 game, worth buying even at full price.
