Judging from reviews, people are avoiding VW now because of really shitty infotainment systems...

Never be sorry about stuff like this. You are not dumb just for missing some random comment on the internet. :)

That's actually really interesting. What's the purpose of so many inactive accounts at once?

Seems to be enough to have a few of them, and not a million accounts since it clearly will rise suspicion... :)

Very good that you found them. Fascinating.

Maybe an attempt to try and make the fediverse look more active than it was back then, to get headlines about how it has explosive growth etc. It was June and everything really took off then.

For a conversation to happen, there must be trust. I don't think anyone trusts them, so there is no attempt at serious communication.

They should be treated with contempt.

Being born rich is almost certainly a requirement to start with. There must be a lot of non famous brilliant people without a public voice like the clowns, Musk and Trump and Zuck and all the others.

Not iFoldable.

Yeah I'm at that stage too. I used to have a lot of time for projects but as an adult, I really have to be selective with my time and energy.

Yes. I'm already noticing a lot more rude and immature people as the number of users grow.

People who hurt animals or tease them to annoy them to get a good laugh. If I'm ever in a situation weather to save the animal or that person, the person does not get saved.

You are young it sounds like. If Lemmy becomes that size, all good things about it goes away, and we get ads and corporations moving in to profit from it. That turns the entire thing into the same shit as everything else.

It happens over and over and over again in tech. It's a pattern that all older people knows about because we have lived it.

So I hope Lemmy stays small. Bigger than now, sure, but not big enough to attract corporations.

Typical Elon :) The guy cheats and lies routinely but cries when someone else does it. What's up with billionaries having no self relection whatsoever... Maybe it's built into them and part of why they think of themselves so highly.

The phone book was not a big tech corporation, which is why it was a suitable place to have your phone number.
