Has Mozilla done sometime to deserve this skepticism? They were founded on open-source and AFAIK have continued to support open-source. Mozilla is far from a perfect organization, but if this project was a success I think it would be out of character for them to keep it closed-source.

One thing the article doesn't mention, is Caitlin Clark's place as a white woman in a sport dominated by black athletes, and the segment of her fans that she might eventually have to disown. For example, there's an under-current of racism in the drama between her and Angel Reese.

Sue Bird had similar experiences but a generation or so earlier. Of course, there was less social media when she was a young player, and a lot less focus of women's basketball. Even still, there was a lot of dog-whistle language about how, "she played the game the right way," or how, "she's an upstanding citizen." Of course, Bird eventually came out which made some of those fans leave on their own.

It feels like their rules are if your part minority, you're a minority (which is how society treats people). However, you can only be a maximum of one minority in each category. Harris can be a women, but she can't be both Indian and Black.

This is the one that always gets me about "small government" people. They talk about inefficiencies and say, "the private sector can do it better," which is debatable because comparing money and service is subjective (IMHO, they're still wrong, but that's besides the point). Yet most of them don't want to properly fund tax administrators, when time and time again, they've shown they're a money multiplier. If you want a more basic, striped down tax code, I once again disagree, but fine, that's your opinion. However, in our current tax system enforcement is underfunded, and I think it just shows their true intent to enrich the wealthy.

This is the part that really confuses me, they were home. I get that parents sometimes need a break from their kid but:

1. You're home, so take your kid inside and then you go somewhere else.
2. 30 to 60 minutes?!? I can understand taking 10 minutes (which is still a dangerous amount of time) but WTF was going on for 30 to 60 minutes.

I know it's not the point of the article, but I'm also annoyed at the idea of someone intending to run their car for 30-60 minutes for no reason. I will admit I've left my car running just for the comfort of A/C while I'm waiting, and I don't live in Arizona heat, but dude was home.

FTFY. Tesla is a tech company that makes cars. Their union busting practices are business decisions, which in turn affect the industry, which again, is technology.
