There is a difference between Anomie and anarchy

Just because there are no leaders/rulers, doesn't mean there are no social rules or morale values.

A law doesn't keep one from doing bad stuff.
Else we wouldn't have murderers.

But society must grow and develop. At the current state anarchy probably wouldn't work...

There are actually people getting paid for this shit

Are they just sitting in a group in multiple meetings to brainstorm new names for stuff?

And I thought just managers are parasites...

I was once able to fix a bug in my dream, which actually worked out in real life - although, I needed to jump up to my laptop and hack in the solution, as the dream was fading away

Although can't really recommend dreaming of work...

Linux from scratch is atheist?

Holy fuck is business insider unreadable - without blocking their shitty scroll-up popup thingy

Currently I just switch to text mode/reader thing in Firefox

But boah, is that thing nerve-wracking
How could anyone think, that this bullshit would lead me to buy a subscription?

Sorry for the off-topic rant, but that shit really hits a nerve
Is my good old internet really gone to shit and the only way to get real information is through Gemini/Gopher?
And while I'm on it: are there any search engines for that?
I tried to build up some link lists/bookmarks for stuff I'm interested, but would be really cool to have a search engine for it - as there one existing I don't know about, or do I use it wrong?

When ever was musk slamming roadsters together in a garage?

Just like every other business he was involved, he didn't build the basics, he just bought himself in

Tesla was existing before him - when they actually slammed together a roadster in a garage - and with PayPal he only got on after they found their footing (and he fucked up with a competing product as far as I remember)

Without his start capital, he wouldn't have had anything.

I give him, that this is more than just luck, but it's much more him being known and having money, than him being a business genius - and I don't even want to talk about the technical side, because pretty much everything he said on this front was bullshit (from pure software, to automation and...ok, I can't really talk about rockets, but it also wasn't him who did the actual work)

In my opinion he is just a parasite, like most so called managers - and CEOs are just the queen of them

Edit: holy fuck, I made quite some typos...

And all of us use Linux, while wearing UNIX socks

Yeah, an ex of mine told me the story of a "friend", who put a tent up on a festival with a sign reading "long haired men fuck for free"

There was a fucking line outside the tent

So yeah, why not, if it's consensual.
Still, the hygienics are probably questionable...

Nothing we do is 100% efficient, everything produces heat - CPUs pretty much make all their energy into heat

Heat can't travel good in a vacuum. So it can only radiate of, which isn't really effective

So just by using all our infrastructure, we would cook ourselves in there future.

The CO2 blanket only accelerates it much more

Russia still is the largest exporter of asbestos in the world and is still used in large parts of the world

https://www.asbestos.com/mesothelioma/worldwide/

Edit: have to add, that I was completely flabbergasted by that, because I thought asbestos was completely illegal like FCKW (sorry, not English native speaker, seems the abbreviation is CFC - the stuff we put into refrigerators before we figured it produces an ozone hole)
Russia mining companies say though, that their asbestos is safe and it's just western propaganda to keep them out of business)

Best response ever!

An upvote just isn't enough, this is great!

Richtig, das ist aber nicht der Fall
Man ist von nem joint am Wochenende nicht für die gesamte kommende Woche high.

Das Messverfahren spiegelt eben nicht die Beeinträchtigung wieder und das ist die Kritik
