mate, that was always the plan. they will take any excuse to move in that direction no matter what you do. there is no civility with fascists.

it is a different game, yes. you can always reinject any story points you like, since it's a toolbox for telling stories.

[-] nico198X@piefed.europe.pub 1 points 3 weeks ago

it doesn't really have a story. we make our own. 2e entries are significantly better than all of 1e.

they're different games, so yes the setting assumptions are different and the systems aren't exactly the same.

but if one wants to import story elements from WoD, they can.

it is shaman-y, but i wouldn't say that overshadows the Werewolf in 2e.

worth scoping out for yourself.

well, if you haven't yet, consider taking a look at WtF2e. it's quite good actually.

CofD really came into its own with the 2e lines.

[-] nico198X@piefed.europe.pub 1 points 3 weeks ago

if you're not familiar with CofD, it's not built like oWoD with a hard meta-plot and setting.

it's much more sandbox with story seeds/elements. you make the story.

it's designed to be a werewolf game. which it is very good at.

to your question, yes.

but to your conclusion, no. story and cosomology can easily be imported. but the mechanics are still designed to give you an excellent Werewolf game.

imo, if you want a better version of WtA 2e, just play Werewolf the Forsaken 2e and import whatever story points you need from WtA.

good. now work to stop buying US arms. we can make our own.

the snake is eating its tail. but ppl won't rise up until they are literally dying.

so do what you can in your own life to mitigate these impacts on you and yours.

Thank you, all!

hey all!

i need some guidance. can you help point me in the right direction?

there a docker image that is basically fine, except i just want to add a group to it so that group will exist in the container.

how do i do this? is there a way to do this that will just pull the original image as is, so it will update when the original image updates, and then just add the group i need?

thanks in advance!

i stumbled across an Alpine Linux based image for Peertube! it's working pretty good!

the normal image is based on Debian, which to me seems both a bit excessive and frustratingly out of date.

YMMV but worth trying out and testing, reporting bugs if you're so inclined!
