I believe telegram manages that with severe upload and download speed limits, but Telegram has always been a bit shady, hasn't it? Who knows how they financially support all that.

I use it for some banking apps and online shops that require the android app for using coupons.

Syncthing has saved me a few times from hardware failure and no important data was lost. I wish I knew about it far earlier. Awesome software!

By looking at data from statcounter, both windows 7 and xp had dropped support when they were at around 3% and 0,5% of global usage, respectively. This time, Microsoft plans to drop support for windows 10 next year, but it's still on 67% of usage. Either I'm missing something here, or they're going a very weird route...

A few months ago, I got the idea of looking for scripts of some movies I watched, liked the concept or some part of it, but disliked the overall execution, and doing a revamp of it. I have no idea of where to post my scripts, or if anyone would be interested in reading them, but your meme made me rethink and reconsider this idea. Thank you.

This is simply the best scenario, taking advantage of new technology, while not being exposed to its disadvantages.

Actually, this is how stuff should have been project, without the user having to intervene in order to be secure nd not to be abused by corporations, but well...

And if we think about it, it would only cost more at first, because open hardware would last longer and be repairable, costing much less in the long run.
