I don't think they read laws, just listen to what a guru says (for a small fee of course). If you want to see what happens when people actually learn things and not trust grifters, go look at what happens when lawyers get pulled over.

Not only can the creator delete comments, but YouTube itself seems to algorithmicly delete comments, especially longer comments.
I am perfectly fine with providing training data for AI, and have actually spent hours contributing to various projects. However, it is super scummy for a company to collect and use sensitive user data (literally a keylogger) not only without any form of communication or consent, but where the only way to opt out is to pay.
Backups people backups. You don't realize how much you want them until it's too late to make them.
I just grabbef a generic IP camera, connected it over ethernet, and firewalled it so it could not make connections out to my home network or the internet. Turns out it just uses an mpeg stream for the video, so recording it is just a matter of running curl on a server. Any network camera that does not depend on a server should work fine for this type of stuff.

Blockchain is a great solution to a almost nonexistent problem. If you need a small, public, slow, append only, hard to tamper with database, then it is perfect. 99.9% of the time you want a database that is read-write, fast and private.
Pulling the lever will kill people slower, therefore less deaths in the lifetime of the universe.
