The expiration date on the money and p2p fund transfers requiring an intermediary and an ID.

Don't force it, your hobbies will feel like a chore. Guess how I know.

You have limited time and you choose to give it to friends and family. Make sure it's your choice, not theirs. It's okay to cancel social plans once in a while.

If you can afford to not sleep well, you could have a coffee at like 9pm once in a while and spend the night doing fun stuff. It worked for me when I was younger.

One more thing that I can't really recommend, but which I still do sometimes, is smoking weed after social meetings. It gets rid of that exhaustion caused by people talking and children screaming, sometimes I even find energy to do something fun then.

Xubuntu LTS. I've been meaning to switch to Debian Stable when something breaks, but it's my third LTS on the desktop and 5th on the laptop and there was just no opportunity. I also learned to avoid PPAs and other 3rd party repos, and just use appimages when possible.

You can have a kernel from Testing or even Sid, I believe, but yeah, it's what we want to avoid - tweaking.

LTS is released every 2 years, for reference.

It's not inconvenient truth, it's white noise for the rest of the world

Have you met people?

Amazing, this way I could restrict network access with normal tools like firejail instead of fiddling with Flatpak. I've never heard of this tool before: https://mr_goldberg.gitlab.io/goldberg_emulator/

Wrists pain, then back pain, then ass pain, all before my legs are properly tired

I got a cheapest Android smart TV and never connected it to the internet. On HDMI1 there is Amazon Firestick for the occasional Netflix use. On HDMI2 there is Kodi for every day watching. Because of how modern TVs work, both these extra boxes can be steered with the TV remote.

I started by getting shitty jobs like $10/hour that were not enough to sustain myself but good for building work experience and some nice comments in my profile. I can't remember paying anything to Upwork but they were less agressive back then.

In about two months I got regular paying jobs.

I got a LED bulb before it was cool, the thing is immortal and also barely gets warm. Made in my country, not by some planned failure corporation. I wish it was still possible to buy from them, butirt's not

Very little content here. But I'm glad the crowd is more diverse than on Mastodon
