The people are supposed to be in control, not the government and if the people have the rhetorical means to take their government down taken away in such a manner, they're not in control anymore. And we see where that kind of thinking leads us

No slave ever learned anything beneficial by being a slave. Those skills became non beneficial simply by virtue of how they were forced on them. Even shit like farming cotton now leaves a bad taste in people's mouths because it is tainted by that trauma. And the machinery required to render hand labor for it redundant was invented around the Civil War anyway, rendering any such skills anachronistic and obsolete.
The U.S. needs to grow up and get off of its post-9/11 authoritarian kick. Then plane and airport design and system setup can go back to being about the convenience of the flyer and not the obscene hellhole it is now that is driving people away from supporting public transit.
Because people want a means to travel independently, as in they are in control and not riding with strangers.

I actually haven't really debated them and this isn't the first time I've seen them invade an instance. I want them gone because they are spreading blatant propaganda and that should not be allowed on any instance worth its salt
Point in fact, I came here to lemm.ee specifically because it was defederated from them, but now I see the past few days that they've been let on again and are now invading threads with pro-CCP astroturfing and inundating the All feed with their propaganda and garbage like they always do. And that shouldn't be allowed.
