You're already on hundreds of cameras by walking into any airport in the world. Do they need your consent to run facial recognition software on the security footage?

It looks like spider mites to me. I have a similar issue and I'm using neem oil to spray all surfaces of the plant every 1-2 weeks until they go away. There are some other treatments you can look up too.

Check out dry herb vaping, the safest way to "smoke" weed without combustion. Still not perfect but way better in every way.

In most cases, Jews who chose to collaborate with Nazis did so to guarantee their personal survival, which distinguished them from most other ethnic groups who collaborated with Nazi Germany. It's not exactly a fair comparison.

I think that is more like an advanced auto pilot which can also steer missiles to their target but only if fired by the human. The OP article says they're banning AI from making the decision to fire the weapon.

Check out Hacker News. Their mission is to only allow thought provoking posts and to not allow enshitification or dumbing down of their platform.

Users can still post content but it is more highly moderated to maintain quality. The users tend to be techy so user submissions are higher quality than average reddit/lemmy posts.

There is a lemmy community that reposts articles from hacker news but now I just browse it on their website or using the Android app Harmonic which I recommend.

Not only this, but StarLink is a new and rapidly growing service so the number of subscribers is still on a steep upward trend. Comparing carbon/subscriber is going to be inaccurate right now due to the low number of starlink subscribers compared to a more established utility with a stable number of users. StarLink also has more new infrastructure needed than an established utility.

Yup, I considered the pixel watch for my android phone but Garmin has an advantage over it in every category while having no subscription. I would have considered an apple watch if it were compatible with android.

I think the pixel watch is doomed to fail unless they can separate from the Fitbit model and continue to improve the hardware and software.

Probably because of their anti-consumer practices, anti-repair, how they design products, cables, accessories, and service to maximize profit to the extreme, and their walled garden ecosystem designed to ward off competition.

There are nuclear plants in operation today that do not use or create any fuel that is capable of being weaponized. In fact, coal plants emit more radiation than a modern nuclear power plant.
