Thank you for this. I've been walking around saying "Why did they remake mean girls?!"
Guess I'm the jerk on this one ...

I want this so much. I dream about making cartridges that are glorified PCIE NVME caddys and the slot on your console being essentially a PCIEx4 slot.
Maybe we could port some games and wrap them up as flatkpaks.
I'm just spit balling but it could work.
Screw TVs, digital signage is the way. With every new smart TV I am more convinced that I'm just going to buy this display from this Jeff Geerling video
I wear it out. Screaming, kicking, blasting "we're in this together now" by NIN cranked up to 11. Physical exhaustion will bring with it its own form of revelation.

You know back in the day they used to sell Linux distributions on the shelf at software stores. I remember seeing a boxed copy of mandriva next to windows. Home computing used to be a hobby for some but that means there was commercial support at some point.
I do think that home users of "Linux" will need a commercial alternative that supports all their apps. ChromeOS looks like the current best alternative. If you can get people into chrome books, you're one step closer to getting them onto Linux.
Pakleds are an alien race from star trek. They're known for tricking smarter people into helping them only so they can take advantage of them, ensnare them, and then dominate them. They also on average have low IQ (in universe).

Whichever one gets in their car, drives to my house, lays down on the couch to hold me tight and whispers " It's ok" into my ear during the thunderstorm... Wins.
Honestly when I think about it, this is just what Mac Users have been doing for years. It's ok to have different devices that do different things.
With that being said, I know my journey with computers was me breaking a lot of stuff and installing software I shouldn't as a child. If they want a windows PC, make them come up with the build. That's the best way to share your hobby.
