That is the reason why you're glad you don't have kids? Because if you did you wouldn't be able to control what information they receive?

The more obscure a web page is, the more likely it is to be indexed only by the large search engines (i.e. Google). There are search queries that return 0 results on DDG, but quite a few (relatively) obscure websites on Google. This is simply because the more money a search engine operator has, the more websites it will index.

So what you want is kind of contradictory.

If you, a potential voter, are reading something, then people trying to win an election will try to put information that will influence your opinion into those sources you are reading.

"We are all going to die because we have new technology, help us governments, regulate it so we don't make too much human progress at a time!!!"

I want to know what happened to "information wants to be free".

Entire Internet feels like a propaganda warzone nowadays. It used to be possible to have civil, open-minded discussions, not anymore.

For what purpose? Basically the same thing happened in the 1960s with Lyndon B. Johnson. For purposes of not being allowed to be elected more than twice, she would be eligible to run once more because of the text of the 22nd amendment ("and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once"). We are considerably less than two years away from the end of Biden's term.

Since the 80’s, Linux has been using a display server called the X Window System

This is, of course, not true, given that Linux did not yet exist in the 1980s.

Unix-like systems that predate Linux did already use it in the 1980s.

From a technical point of view you are right. But commercially, I am pretty sure many companies and developers that used to make Flash games now make mobile games. There are many mobile games that are ports of old Flash games.

Facebook is still called that. The social media platform, that is; the company that runs it is now called Meta, and it makes sense to distinguish those.

On Windows filenames are case insensitive at least usually, some people are used to that. But that is poor design for so many reasons, Turkish I being one of them.
