Thanks that's a great idea. I will try breaking it up into crates.

I don't use zellij. Just normal tabs inside kitty terminal.

My system has a midrange amd cpu with 6 cores. I have an ssd.

I think the issue has to do with procedural macros in maud. The project is about 1000 dependencies and 10k loc.

Combined with tailwind classes and a complex ui, the templates get bloated. I have to test this theory.

Are you sure? I have tried using vim and it was pretty much the same.

I have also confirmed the cause using task manager to be rust analyzer.

Rust analyzer and compilation are very slow. My system is heating up, running out of ram and disk space. I have 8 GB ram.

I use helix editor.

I can start. I spent a few days with friends. We didn't do anything that special but it's good to catch up and soak up some positivity from them.

I did that too initially. In my case, (probably yours too) truecaller is the reason why I get so many spam calls.

Ever since I installed it they increased from one per week to 5-10 a day. I have evidence that truecaller has sold my contact to call centers. I created an email and registered truecaller with it and used it for literally nothing else. I started getting spam shortly after.

And the number that I didn't give truecaller doesn't even get one spam call.

Changing your display name doesn't do anything. They have your real name from your social graph.

The only way to hurt their business is to unlist your number. If lots of people do that it'll become useless and more people will uninstall it.

Btw you can report spam calls to telecom regulators (govt). That's when I stopped getting them permanently.

Fuck truecaller (truecaller.com)

Even if you don't use it, if anyone who has your number uses truecaller then your number, profession, and social graph etc will be recorded and shown to other users.

Let's fight back by unlisting our numbers from truecaller.
