Hi! In the Mlem v2 beta there's a setting for this at General -> Swipe Actions. In Mlem v1 this isn't possible.

Hi! Mlem v1 requires iOS 16 or later and Mlem v2 requires iOS 17 or later. Supporting a wider range of versions would take up significantly more development time, and prevent us from using newer APIs. For that reason we choose to support only the two most recent iOS versions, which most of our users fall under.

We’re sorry that you can’t use Mlem on your old iPad. You could try Voyager instead, which supports any iOS version (I think).

Eric's posted the links :) Worth noting is that Mlem v2 doesn't yet support mod/admin stuff, so if you use Mlem for administration duties you may want to consider waiting until the full release.

Sure, we'll add an option for this in Mlem 2.0. We're glad you're enjoying Mlem 😄

Mlem dev here - you can add a link to the post by tapping on the link button in the toolbar then tapping "Paste". We're aware that this isn't ideal UI, and are improving it in the next update.

Nope; we haven't got one yet. We hope to add one sometime in the future though.

The Saved feed has moved to the Feeds list, just below “All”, “Local” and “Subscribed”.

Mlem is an open-source project developed by unpaid volunteers. Anyone is welcome to start or stop contributing to Mlem at any time.

The number of people in our development team is the number of people who are passionate enough about the project to spend their free time working on it. We don’t control that number, and we certainly can’t just “expand our dev team” like a company can by employing more developers.

The “crunch” you refer to was during the large influx of users migrating from Reddit. During that time more people (including myself) became interested in the project, and naturally a subset of those people were interested in developing for it. The development team grew because of the increased interest towards the project, not just because we wanted to expand it.

If someone wants to contribute a custom low-level markdown renderer to the project, they’re more than welcome to.

I looked into the possibility of highlighting new comments when I added the indicator, but unfortunately there isn’t a support for it API-side. So we’d have to do it locally.

I’ll look into the possibility of implementing this 👍

We have an update scheduled soon™️, and we’re bug-fixing that release at the moment. This is unlikely to be in that release, unfortunately.

I operate my own local instance that I use for testing, so we won't need a test instance. Thanks for offering though :)

Sure, I'll add this 👍

We hope to have a new TestFlight release out in the next few weeks or so.

Update: This is in today's TestFlight release, and will be in the App Store build in a week or so. You can find the option under Settings -> General.

Hey there! We’re aware of this issue. This is related to a system that we implemented hastily to get 0.19.0 support working; we’re working on a more robust solution for the next update. If you see this error, going back to the communities list and re-entering the feed should fix the issue.
