When I need a new car it'll be well researched and proven to be possible, or it will be a old 1990's car and I'll upgrade parts. I don't mind soldering, researching chips, removing any antennas, etc.

In any case, It's public knowledge so hopefully we get laws or something first to stop this shit.

Then again. My rate might go up because my car doesn't submit reports

Honestly, I'm of the same opinion as other people here. If you're in a costume and yell "trick or treat" at my door, you get candy. I don't judge people for shit, live your best life man.

Everyone has feelings, everyone has their own problems, and it feels good to be happy. If I can make anyone's day a little bit better I will. If that means giving candy to a fat, bearded, 40-something man alone in a costume alone, take it brother.

Weird? sure, I get that too. Personally, I won't go door to door for candy either, it's not something I find fun. Will I gatekeep someone from having their definition of fun for..... what ~$2? in candy I was going to give away otherwise? Nawh.

Like everyone else said, replace it when it becomes a problem for you. Don't worry about the %life left, or how full you charge it. (IE some people try to keep it around 80% to extend the life of the battery)

Your phone is a tool, use it as such and replace parts when they become a problem. I'm still using a Pixel 3 which I'll upgrade later for security/updates.

Ah yes, a polite adult conversation between two countries who have a dispute over land requires it to be empty. Couldn't possibility do that when lives are on the line. /s

Oh? Neat, I'll have to look into it more. Thanks!

This.... Is what I've wanted but never looked up if it was possible. Thank you. I've been manually renewing my cert for ages...

I double NAT. My ISP box gives off WiFi for consoles, guests, some IOT. UPNP is enabled and I generally don't care what goes on there.

My FW is an OPNSense box and everything I do is behind that. I've opened ports, run Tailscale, etc and have had no problems at all. All it is is an extra device to open a NAT rule in if I want to open something up.

Yeah, you'll slso need all the dependencies but it'll work.

Aye, my bad. 5 Download 25API is listed in the "Daily Limits" column so you're right.

You're going down the same path I did awhile ago. It's super fun when things work. Not so much when it doesn't. If you want me to add to that list. Add Tailscale (and maybe Headscale ) to that list. I cant get over how cool it is. I've installed the app on my phone/Laptop and can access everything in my house while I'm away.

I have a couple raspberrypi4 and Lenovo M93p hosting all my stuff and I picked RackNerd from this list.

For sure! Good luck! I'd suggest not paying for DS until you hit the free limit, then you can decide if you want to pay or wait a day for 25 more downloads. To be honest, I doubt you will hit the limit but I could be wrong.

I'm not sure where nextcloud comes in but I get your point. Cheers!

How much disk space are you using? Is it just data from anything posted in your instance or others as well?
