It's hard to go back after Sway/I3 with pywal coloration, when everything is so sluggish in comparison. It's amazing to see gnome and KDE adding like a second to launch/quit of common applications. Tried hyprland, but animations seemed choppy (beefy AMD desktop), has that changed?

I think pocket and quite the slew of unrelated features disagrees with you. Seems like most browsers are happy to be the everything app.

Are there anyone that takes HRW seriously, especially when decrying non western states? This article in Monthly Review describing HRWs support for the right wing coup against Evo Morales in Bolivia, also brings up its less than flattering history of supporting Western human rights violations.

Human Rights Watch’s deep ties to U.S. corporate and state sectors should disqualify the institution from any public pretense of independence.

Aka, if the electoral system is rigged, just give up. There is no alternative. Unless of course you find yourself within a nation with a somewhat browner skin color. Then expect liberation and democratization by way of the bomb.

Honestly, when it comes to helping their national companies get ahead in the global market, European countries aren't that different from anywhere else. It's like a global game where everyone's trying to sneak their products into the lead with a little help from home. Think of it as governments giving their players the best gear, secret strategies, and even a map of shortcuts. Whether it's subsidies, regulatory loopholes, or strategic support, the end goal is the same: make sure our team wins, even if it means bending the rules of fair play. So next time you see a European car or product leading the pack, remember, it might have had a little "help" getting there.

If it wasn't for the overpowered military industrial complex and veto in the security council, I'm pretty sure we'd have a no fly zone and democratic transition in the US by now.

This graph just shows how the three (china, us, eu) are pretty much equal, adjusted for population. If anything, it looks like EU and US are ahead. Without more context, it doesn't prove anything, other than China being the larger economy.

It's all orchestrated by big, bad (simultaneously weak, cowardly) Russia - never mind the fact that Israel and Russia are pals. As long as it can sow fear and confusion in the population to hinder a popular peace movement, anything goes.

Yeah, guess you're right, but aren't the latter two just variations of calling someone a cop?

It's pretty common to see terms like "Russian propaganda" and "Chinese propaganda", while "American/EU propaganda" is seldom spoken about, at least in Western countries.

As a VIM user, I approve.

Please show where that is being said by "Lenin, and that". On the other hand you have Margaret Thatcher:

‘Economics are the method; the object is to change the heart and soul’
