According to both the Peel commission and the 1946 British survey, there was basically none. “Arab illegal immigration is mainly casual, temporary and seasonal,” said Peel, and the 1946 survey states “"… the expansion of the Moslem and Christian populations is due mainly to natural increase…"

The Jewish Historian Roberto Bachi estimates only about 900 Muslims per year immigrated between 1923 to 1946.

Where did the increase come from? According to the British register of Births and Deaths, it came from a natural net increase of 2.7%. (One of the highest recorded birth rates of all of the British controlled lands at 5%, and a high mortality rate of 2.3%.) In fact the estimated number of Muslims in 1947 is simply the number in the 1933 survey plus the net gain.

You seem to get all your information from Israeli propaganda with no verifiable sources.

Hate to break it to you but violence has been the solution in every successful civil rights movement.

All your rights we're violently fought for and defended at some point in history.

Saying killing Nazis would have made the holocaust worse has to be one of the dumbest things I've read. How could it be any worse!?

How many dead? Oh yeah its almost like the billions poured into Israel by the US gives them an unfair advantage and allows them to be the oppressor.

Israel has bombed Gaza with the equivalent of two Hiroshima nukes. 9000 rockets is nothing.

My problem is not with inclusivity but with promoting uptake. If you are familiar with the grammar or phonetic sounds or some of the vocab, you are more likely to find that language easier to learn.

Both English and Esperanto share the same problems of universal languages that I mentioned. English does have the advantage of number of speakers but it is a mess of a language for people to have to learn.

Again to reiterate my counter to universal languages, why not learn and potentially help revive your local indigenous languages. In a world where universal translation exits on our phones everybody being able to speak the same language matters less.

Again none of that has been properly verified by a third party.

Both Israel and Hamas have been guilty of lying in the past and pushing propaganda and misinformation.

If you believe what western media is saying currently about the hospital then I have a story about 40 beheaded babies to sell to you.

Again you're telling on yourself when you say indoctrination into Islam is bad. Lot's of islamaphobia for someone who would probably cry antisemitism if anyone talked shit about the Jewish faith.

Would the second not block every word ending in x?

  • cost of living - can be solved if its social housing provided by the government and/or assigned by need and/or there is a restriction that the properties can only be owned by individuals.
  • traffic - if everything is a walkable or cycleable distance traffic should be alright even with poor public transport. Although if we are trying to right the wrongs of bad urban planning you'd like to think public transport, green spaces, utilities and amenities would be well planned out in this scenario.
  • homelessness - homelessness is not directly related to cost of living, its more related to lack of a social safety net and social services. The cost of living rising just exacerbates the issue.

I'm a software engineer but go off

That used to be possible on less ram, blame OS, browser and web developers

Again my point is Anglo is not the right word, go with European racism or then if you don't want to call out skin colour.

Any mention I find of Angloshere online doesn't include Europe and some mentions are even calling out the difference between anglosphere and Europe.

I'm not the only one who was confused by your use of the word in this context.

Yeah Ithinks we fundamentally disagree with what hexbear is. I believe it to be a broad left instance, and yes that include tankies. I do not believe tankies make up even close to the majority of hexbear. I also believe that hexbear is the left on Lemmy and to cut ourselves off from them alienates all the leftists(in the anticapitalist meaning) on this instance.

I consider myself an anarchist so i disagree with tankies but I also disagree with equating tankies with fashists. It's a false equivalence that ignores their ideological differences.
